• Speed control. New Configuration menu (Spider, Limits, Speed, Rendering, Identity, Content, Custom) and a Speed selector next to Start with Gentle, Normal, Fast and Maximum presets. Default is now 3 parallel requests with a 250 ms gap.
• Automatic back-off. When a server answers 429, 503 or Cloudflare 1015, the crawler halves its parallelism and doubles its delay by itself, shows a banner, and speeds back up after 25 clean responses.
• Faster, steadier crawling. Fixed a stall where crawls stopped early with URLs still queued, replaced HEAD requests for CSS and JavaScript files that hung for 50 seconds on some servers, and the speed readout is now a 15-second rolling rate instead of flickering to 0/s.
• Reports. If the report server cannot be reached, the app keeps the bundle and tells you where it is instead of failing with a raw error.
• Updates. Free users receive updates automatically. Paid keys include a year of updates; the app tells you when a newer release is outside your window.
• Downloads. Installers are served with the correct file type (no more disk images opening as text).
